Seller's Notes:

1979 Pontiac Trans Am403 CI EngineTH 350 TransmissionWS-7 (WS-6 w/o rear disc brakes)Fisher T-TopsI purchased this vehicle from the original owner in Denver, CO about three years ago. I drove it from Denver to Los Angeles and from Los Angeles to my new home in Phoenix. Car drives straight, got 22 MPG and does not burn oil or leak trans fluid. The valve covers seep some oil, but nothing bad - easy fix. Car is not modified or molested. Interior is in the condition you'd expect for being 40 years old. I have brand new replacement seat foams that will go with the car. Fabric upholstery is readily available. Original door panels are scrap. I have brand new door panels I'll include with the sale as well. It has PERFECT restored snowflake wheels with BF Goodrich tires. Tires have about 2,200 miles on them. Also, I had the dash bezel and original steering wheel restored. They look amazing. The smoke T-Tops are better than expected, light scratches and normal wear. I have a set of nearly BRAND NEW smoke T-Tops I'll sell the vehicle buyer for $600 additional. I got a paint and body estimate for $8500 that included three stage black, fixing the body filler in the driver's rear quarter and the small rust spots in the typical areas behind the wheels. The hood has surface rust only. The rest of the car is pretty clean of rust. The car has the original paint under a light layer of rattle can black. The original paint had faded away to primer in a lot of areas (I have photos to share). I have a complete set of BRAND NEW decals for the entire car, including the five color hood bird. I purchased them new for $1,000. Willing to sell them to the vehicle buyer for $500 additional. The rear tail lights need some TLC. The mounts are broken, so you can salvage these or you can buy NEW tail light assemblies for $450. See the attached Pontiac Historical Society window sticker for this car. This car is a prime candidate for restoration or freshening up for high school. There is no warranty. I have done the best I can to describe the condition of the car. Please feel free to ask questions. I am willing to assist with loading on trailers or meeting trucking companies to assist with logistics. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Non-refundable $500 deposit due immediately after close of auction. Mileage may exceed mechanical limits of odometer. Shows approximately 122,000 miles. On Jan-06-20 at 16:26:19 PST, seller added the following information: I just took a whole bunch of pic of the underside and body. I don't know how to add more than the 24 pix on here, so message me for additional pix and I will email them to you. 2,500 miles ago car got new water pump, timing cover and timing chain, t-stat, and radiator flush. Cold start is as good as it gets and carb functions very nice through its operating range. Sometimes a slight shudder when cold if you kick it off high idle too soon but that's to be expected. I have a lot of new, unused parts such as new premium carpet kit (best I've seen on the market), interior door pulls/arm rests, kick panels, etc that I'm willing to sell at steep discount. On Jan-09-20 at 07:50:26 PST, seller added the following information: There have been a few fraudulent bidders. If you notice bids disappearing, it's because I am cancelling them. I've called Ebay twice on this issue and they have been very helpful. One was likely a bot and the other was a hacked dormant account.
