Seller's Notes:

1965 Chevelle Malibu 2 Door Sport Coupe with an opening bid of $1965 and NO RESERVE Original 283 with Powerglide 2 Speed Automatic Transmission Aluminum Intake, 4 barrel Carburetor, HEI Distributor, Headers and Dual Exhaust. Equipped with Factory Power Steering. Was a Factory Air Conditioned car, so dash is set up with left, center, and right vents. Other than the evaporator housing, no other AC parts come with the car. What you see is what you get. Amatuer paint job. Most of the lights work. There isn't a radio. The gas gauge doesn't work. The door locks do work. The windshield has a crack in it. The tires are pretty new, and it has a set of 1970 Chevelle hubcaps on it that you could sell to someone who is in need. Runs and drives well, sounds great, steers and stops great. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY, PLEASE. I recently purchased this car with big hopes of taking it to the next level. Since it runs and drives well, and it's all there, it was something I could drive while fixing up. The floors and trunk are solid, so I didn't have to worry about that. The next day, I bought a beautiful 1966 Chevy Short Bed Fleetside Truck. My time, energy, and money will be going towards it. The plans to make a Chevelle SS clone are canceled. So....starting bid of $1965 with no reserve. The winning bidder will own it unless I get an offer I can't resist. I reserve the right to end the auction early in the event a deal is made, but I won't be ending the auction because the price isn't enough. If you're serious, buy it. If you want it and are a gambler, place your bid and see how the auction goes. Located in Port Charlotte on Florida's Gulf Coast...close to the interstate and easy for the shippers to get it if you want to transport it that way. On Sep-08-13 at 06:48:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I've received a lot of emails regarding the condition of the car. It's difficult for me to know what's under the amateur paint job. The only way I can describe it is this; There are small dings and dents, most of which do not show up in photos. There is what I would consider normal wear and tear associated with a 48 year old car. I believe the interior is original, including seats and carpet. Door panels, headliner, and visors all appear original. There are bubbles, lumps, and assorted rusty areas. Once again, they don't really show up in photos. Since I didn't see the car before it was painted, I don't know what was filled or replaced. I do know the trunk and floors are solid, but like a 48 year old car will have, there is surface rust. The same goes for the frame. Solid, but with typical surface rust. If your plan is to get it, fix up a few things, and drive're all set. If your plan is to buy it and go to a car show with it, be prepared to not bring home a trophy. If you're a realistic buyer who plans on doing what needs to be done to have a first generation Chevelle, you're going to get a great deal. Look on ebay for what people are asking for shells of cars or parts cars. Less desirable 4 door cars are bringing $5000-$7000 in decent shape. This is a 2 door Sport Coupe, V-8, Automatic, Power Steering, and originally a Factory AC car. Bid what you're comfortable with because you're bidding to OWN, not bidding to come and look at or to think about it. SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY, PLEASE
